Coconut Travel Limited

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Coconut Travel Limited, a UK-registered travel agency (Company No. 13632580), located at 61 Middle Street, Blackhall, TS27 4EE. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms.



1. Your Contract

Your booking is made through Coconut Travel Limited, acting as a travel agent. We sell travel services on behalf of ABTA & ATOL protected tour operators, airlines, cruise lines, hotels, and travel suppliers. Your contract will be with the tour operator or supplier providing those services, and their own Terms & Conditions will also apply.



2. Financial Protection

All package holidays we sell are protected by ABTA or ATOL, as confirmed at the time of booking. You will receive an ATOL Certificate or proof of financial protection with your booking documents.



3. Booking & Payment
• A deposit (or full payment) is required to secure your booking.
• Payment plans may be available through monthly Direct Debit or our authorised merchant services provider.
• Final balances are due by the date specified in your booking confirmation.
• If payments are not made on time, your booking may be cancelled and charges may apply.
4. Zero Deposit, Low Deposit & Pay Monthly

Special Tour Operator offers , Sometimes Tour Operators offer a zero deposit or low deposit option, allowing you to spread the cost with monthly direct debit payments . Your agreement is subject to further terms through the Tour Operators conditions of booking. (Eg. If offered low deposit or zero deposit and you wish to cancel you are still responsible for the full deposit on the Tour Operators T&C for cancellation charges and or any further charges subject to the amount of days to travel when cancelling)



5. Amendments & Cancellations
• If you wish to change or cancel your booking, contact us as soon as possible.
• Cancellation and amendment fees may apply as per the tour operator’s terms and to be paid immediately upon amending your holiday.
• Some elements (e.g. flights or cruises) may be non-refundable.
• Coconut Travel may apply an admin fee of up to £30 per person for amendments or cancellations plus any other Tour Operators administration costs
6. Travel Insurance

You must have adequate travel insurance for all travellers at the time of booking. Coconut Travel does not accept responsibility for any costs arising from uninsured travel.



7. Health, Medical & Special Requirements
• It is your responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, or special requirements at the time of booking and or at any time before travel, such as medical conditions that arise or treatment you have received before your holiday.
• This allows us to notify the relevant suppliers and ensure appropriate arrangements.
• Some services may require a doctor’s note or consent to travel.



8. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements
• You are responsible for ensuring all travellers have valid passports, visas, and meet entry requirements for your destination.
• We can assist with general guidance, but ultimate responsibility rests with the traveller.
• No refunds will be issued if travel is denied due to missing documents.
9. Changes Made by the Tour Operator

Occasionally, your travel supplier may make changes to your booking (e.g. hotel, flight times, routes).
We will inform you as soon as possible and explain your options, which may include:
• Accepting the change
• Selecting an alternative (subject to availability)
• Cancelling with a full or partial refund, depending on the tour operator’s policy



10. Complaints & Assistance

If something goes wrong while you’re away:
• Notify the supplier (hotel, airline, etc.) immediately.
• Contact us if you need further support or escalation.
• Formal complaints must be made to Coconut Travel in writing within 28 days of your return.



11. Liability

Coconut Travel acts as an agent and is not liable for the acts or omissions of the third-party suppliers. However, we will provide assistance and support to resolve any issues.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights or the tour operator’s responsibility for providing the booked services.



12. Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. Sensitive data, such as health information, will only be collected with your consent and shared where necessary to fulfil your booking.
13. Promotions, Offers & Pricing
• All prices and offers are subject to availability and may change before a booking is confirmed.
• Promotions (such as free child places or low deposits) may have specific conditions.
• Typographical errors in pricing will not be binding.



14. Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.
